How do you get noticed by football scouts?
To get noticed by scouts, make yourself easy to find and easy to check: play regular minutes at the highest level you can, keep your Transfermarkt profile accurate, have a short recent highlights video and a full match ready, and put yourself in front of clubs that need your position rather than waiting to be found.

Minutes first
Scouts trust minutes at a decent level over anything else. A season starting in a stronger league does more than a great video from a weaker one. If you are not playing, a move down for minutes can be a move forward.
Be easy to find
- An accurate Transfermarkt profile: clubs look you up there first.
- A highlights video of three to five minutes from your last season.
- One or two full matches ready to send.
- One link with all of it, which works on a phone.
Go to them
- Find clubs that need your position at your level, and contact them.
- Ask your coaches to recommend you to people they know.
- Apply to requests clubs post, where you can see the level and salary before you apply.
Avoid
- Paying for showcases or trials that promise scouts.
- Sending the same message to every club, whatever the position.
- Out of date videos and numbers that do not match your record.
You should not need an agent to be seen.
Paste your Transfermarkt link and a highlights video. Once a person approves it, your profile builds itself, and you can apply to open requests.

Questions people also ask
Do scouts watch lower leagues?
Some do, but many clubs below the top tier have no paid scouts. That is why going to clubs directly matters.
Is it worth paying for a showcase?
Be careful. Check who will actually attend, and remember real clubs do not charge players to be watched.
